Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Clerk/Driver to join our team in Madison, WI. As a Warehouse Clerk/Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. You will also be expected to be knowledgeable on all our delivery routes, and to learn the various processes associated with product movement through the warehouse. You will be driving a variety of vehicles, including box trucks and delivery vans, and will be expected to adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards. Other equipment will include the operation of forklifts and an RF Scanner. Your role will involve route delivery, inventory management, and distribution center operations.

This position does not require a CDL.

Hours typically 4:30 am - 12:30 pm

Monday through Friday. No Weekends!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a commercial driver
  • Excellent driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including box trucks and delivery vans
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory
  • Assist the warehouse with daily functions including receiving, picking, and packing.

Skills:

As a Warehouse Clerk/Driver, you will utilize your skills in commercial driving, route delivery, inventory management, and distribution center operations on a daily basis. You will need to have excellent driving skills and be able to operate a variety of vehicles safely and efficiently.
