The University of Vermont Health Medical Group Director is a key member of the UVM Health Medical Group leadership team. The individual is responsible for ensuring high-value services and operational oversight of their assigned UVM Health Medical Group practices/services. The Medical Group operates in a matrixed environment with close working relationships between System Department Chairs, Vice Presidents, and Hospital Campus leadership. This position is the assigned leader responsible for standardizing operational processes and policies in support of the mission and vision of UVM Health. This position is responsible for leading people, with an emphasis on UVM Health's values, patient access, and the patient experience. This position collaborates with other UVM Health Medical Group Directors and UVM Health hospital-based leaders to support clinical integration and achievement of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field required. The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree in business administration or health care administration or a related area.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in health care operational management. Experience in an academic health system setting preferred.
