Position Overview

Clearly Heard Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and passionately skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. The ideal candidate will hold an independent license in clinical social work (LCSW), marriage and family therapy (LMFT), or professional counseling (LPC). This therapist will play a crucial role in enhancing mental health access for our clients, providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.

Work Environment

This position allows for a fully remote work setting while maintaining a robust connection with our outpatient office team in La Grande, Oregon. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct utilization reviews with insurance companies by providing necessary clinical information to obtain initial and ongoing authorizations.
• Ensure timely communication with family members or loved ones by responding to calls and emails within two hours during business hours and twenty-four hours at all other times.
• Collaborate with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding insurance authorization and payment processes while maintaining open lines of communication with referral sources and outpatient providers.
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission while completing discharge sessions with patients to discuss coping strategies, transition plans, and available resources.
• Manage crises effectively within therapy sessions and foster supportive environments in collaboration with milieu staff.
• Ensure that all clinical documentation is completed promptly and accurately, adhering to high standards and regulatory requirements.
• Establish therapeutic rapport and continuously assess patients for suicidality or other risks, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Facilitate admission assessments for new patients with professionalism, courtesy, and a welcoming demeanor, ensuring that the admission process is seamless.
• Actively participate in weekly treatment team meetings, contributing to shared goals and strategies, while providing support to colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited program.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records and effective electronic communication skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload while maintaining strong relationships with patients, support staff, and larger healthcare providers.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated commitment to improving individuals' lives through mental health and behavioral care.
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution within therapeutic settings.
• Familiarity with current best practices and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
