As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Provide compassionate counseling and crisis intervention to patients, conducting thorough assessments to identify emotional and behavioral issues.
• Administer individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to track patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Develop, implement, and continuously update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they receive the most effective care possible.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights that contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities that address both psychological and relational difficulties.

In this role, you will work primarily with clients dealing with substance abuse issues and related mental health challenges. You will support individuals and families navigating the complexities of addiction and recovery, employing a systemic approach that accounts for the intricate dynamics of relationships. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients articulate their needs and foster healthier connections.

Applicants for this role must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• An active and valid state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health or counseling setting.
• Proficient clinical skills in psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and diverse therapeutic techniques.
• A strong understanding of individual and family development across the lifespan, including the impact of socio-cultural factors on mental health.

While not required, the following qualifications will be viewed favorably:

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
• Prior experience working in community health settings or with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with integrating technology in therapeutic practices, including teletherapy platforms.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
