• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions via secured telehealth platforms, addressing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, using standardized psychological tools and observational techniques, to accurately identify clients' needs and strengths.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting clear therapeutic goals and regularly evaluating progress.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop action plans to assist clients in emergency situations, ensuring immediate support and connection to necessary resources.
• Engage in psychoeducation, equipping clients and their families with knowledge about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available support systems.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging research, evidence-based practices, and innovative therapeutic modalities through continuous education and training.

This role primarily involves working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families coping with various mental health issues. Our clients often face challenges such as emotional distress due to life changes, developmental transitions, or chronic mental health conditions. As an LPC, you will be instrumental in fostering resilience and guiding clients toward recovery and improved well-being.

• Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required, with a strong foundation in psychological theories and therapeutic practices.
• Active and independent LPC licensure from the state of Oregon, signifying adherence to state regulations and standards in mental health practice.
• Proficient ability to maintain and organize clinical records, preparing comprehensive reports that support client treatment efforts.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering effective counseling services to a varied clientele, showcasing cultural competence and adaptability.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interactions with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations while exercising sound judgment.

• Flexibility and resilience to adapt to the evolving needs of clients and any changes within the organization.

• Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms for counseling, demonstrating comfort with technology and virtual client interactions.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration practices, ideally having worked in a team-based healthcare setting.
• Specific training in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or other relevant modalities.
