Service Writer Cincinnati OH

Service Writer for a Commercial Trailer Shop Interstate Utility Trailer, a full-service commercial semi-trailer dealership, has an excellent opportunity for an Inside Sales person for our Cincinnati OH service center.

Major responsibilities:

  • Meet and interact with customers, listen to their questions and concerns and provide timely responses.
  • Educate clients about the company's products, services and offers.
  • Review customer accounts and report changes to internal staff.
  • Manage complaints, returns and resolve customer grievances.
  • Serve as a customer relationship manager.
  • Providing written estimates of equipment damages and replacement parts requirements to affect repairs to damaged commercial trailers and associated equipment.
  • Communicating with customers on repair progress
  • Reviewing and closing equipment work orders.
  • Reviewing and prioritizing equipment repair write-ups.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills and eagerness to improve
  • Strong listening skills as they relate to workload, time management, and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment
  • Effective problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skill
  • Strong mechanic background
  • Experience in truck and trailer repair is a plus
  • Experience writing commercial estimates
  • Self Motivated
  • Must be able to work independently

Physical Requirements: Sitting, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time. Reaching with arms and hands Lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to work independently
