Job description

We are a busy, growing trailer dealership and servicer needing a Lot Porter to help in all aspects of the business. This is a high energy role for a proactive person looking to gain exposure to all aspects of our business and ultimately move into either a service technician role or into a sales position.

You will be expected to support both teams for 12-18 months while learning "trailers" which could lead to either a sales or a service technician path

Demonstrated punctuality, consistency and a great attitude of huge importance.

Roles and responsibilities include:

- Assist sales and service teams with moving trailers for customers and inventory set up (ability to drive tractor).

- Unloading trailer deliveries, assembling trailers (wheels, fenders, jacks, gates etc), decal applications, keeping trailers clean (ability to use forklift);

- Assist Service techs when needed with basic tasks ("extra pair of hands") with potential training to move into mechanics if desired;

- Maintain yard appearance and cleanliness including cleaning up after deliveries;

- Opportunity to move into sales or service.

Helpful skills and experience include driving a tractor and forklift, basic mechanics and Spanish speaking a plus.
