Utility Person - Parkhurst Dining

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for cleaning all kitchen equipment, coolers, storage areas and other related spaces according to Parkhurst standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Keep all kitchen floors, coolers, dish, bakery, and service area floors swept and mopped.
  • Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures. Soak and scrub stained cups weekly.
  • Clean all pots, pans and trays using prescribed proper procedures.
  • Always keep pot sink area clean and uncluttered.
  • Clean all equipment in kitchen, coolers, bakery, dish, and service areas. De-lime the dish machine once a week.
  • Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods.
  • Clean all kitchen counter tops and shine all stainless steel at least three times a week.
  • Empty all trash cans.
  • Wipe down dining room tables.
  • Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using "clean as you go" techniques.
  • Assist with catering deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Exercise extreme precaution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
  • Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
  • Follow all Parkhurst Gold Standards and Hospitality Imperatives.
  • Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
