The Utility Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency of a manufacturing facility. This position ensures that all workspaces, equipment, and common areas are kept in optimal condition to support smooth production processes. The Utility Porter is responsible for the timely removal of waste, transportation of materials, and assisting various departments with logistical support. By performing these duties diligently, the Utility Porter helps to create a safe and productive environment for all employees. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall effectiveness and reputation of the manufacturing operation. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of corporate office floors, storage areas, and common spaces by performing regular cleaning and waste disposal.
  • Transport materials, tools, and equipment between departments (locations) to support production and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues observed during daily rounds to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support the team with ad hoc tasks such as setting up workstations, moving heavy items, and assisting with inventory management.
  • Vacuum carpets and mop floors daily in corporate office and facilitates
  • Keep utility rooms clean and in good working order
  • Clean and shampoo carpets, strip and wax floors when needed
  • Pick up trash around the building and parking lots daily and power was common areas and parking lots
  • Straighten signals and parking signs in and around the facilitates (report any problems with outside property to the manager)
  • Repair and maintain housekeeping equipment (vacuums, etc. )
  • Refill soap dispensers in all common areas and replace batteries as needed
  • Compacts all carboard in the bailer produce by TDS
  • Deliver cafeteria and cleaning supplies to each building
  • Inspect all fire extinguishers at each budling and provide findings to Facilitates Manager
  • Assist the maintenance team when necessary
