Job description

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking Utility Operators to work at our Fulton Mill Services location in Delta, OH.

The Utility Operator performs all functions related to operating heavy off-road mobile equipment, including water truck operation for dust suppression, equipment operation, routine maintenance, material handling, yard upkeep, safety compliance, and supporting daily site operations as directed by supervision.

Pay: Up to $33/HR
Shift:  Varies

Responsibilities
The Heavy Mobile Equipment Operator will:
  • Operate heavy mobile equipment including water trucks, loaders, bulldozers, bobcats, and excavators in non-hot applications
  • Operate water trucks for dust suppression and road watering activities
  • Assist with material handling, cleanup of spilled material, and general yard maintenance
  • Perform routine care, inspections, and maintenance of equipment and machines
  • Order and/or pick up equipment, tools, and replacement parts as needed
  • Assist operations and provide backup support for other operators as directed by supervision
  • Perform manual labor including shoveling and site cleanup activities
  • Comply with all company safety regulations, road rules, inspections, audits, and operational procedures
  • Identify operational issues, support problem-solving efforts, and implement corrective actions as required
  • Maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives to meet operational and customer expectations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor


 

Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 years experiof ence operating heavy mobile equipment including loaders, excavators, bulldozers, bobcats, and water trucks
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, shoveling, and outdoor labor
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify equipment performance issues
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and material handling practices
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines
  • Ability to Lift up to 50lbs., sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time 
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
