Job description

We are seeking an experienced equipment operator to support safe, efficient mining operations. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment in a dynamic production environment, contribute to daily operational goals, and help maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working as part of a team in an active site environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment used in mining and site support activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Support material movement, load handling, excavation, grading, and related production tasks as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and other team members to coordinate work safely.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, hazards, or unusual site conditions promptly.
  • Assist with routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and work areas.
  • Maintain accurate records related to equipment use, inspections, and operational activities as required.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and respond flexibly to changing production priorities


Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in mining, quarry, construction, or a related industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and situational awareness.
