This position is a field-based role and will be on site and/or travel daily to job sites.

The Craft Operations Trainer provides overall Training for our utility construction operations. The Craft Operations Trainer is the trainer of construction teams that may include the Craftsman and General Foreman. This position involves a high level of responsibility requiring strong management and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manages employee training and development and coordinates maintenance of trainings including, but not limited to, refresher, job specific (technical) training, supervisor, management, leadership, soft skills and compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with Safety rules and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA Safety regulations and standards
  • Teach craft employees standard procedures and processes
  • Assist in the development of craft trainings
  • Tracks the training for all Craft employees
  • Maintain up to date certs
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience working in all phases of Telecommunication work (Underground, Civil, Aerial)
  • CDL Preferred
  • Ability to travel 60-80% of the time
