Position Title: Branch Operations Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA, 100% On-Site

What you'll do:
This position is responsible for driving the overall Branch Office mission. It includes leading, developing and managing all positions within assigned branch to achieve revenue and profitability targets, increase market share and improve customer satisfaction within a geographic business market while adhering to company and legal policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
1) Safety - the ultimate safety of our Team Members is our most important objective. Driving a safety culture to our team members and ensuring the daily, weekly and monthly safety standard work is fulfilled is imperative
2) Continuous Improvement - we must strive to continually improve our capabilities and eliminate waste from our business processes. Lean methodology and the Terex Business System (TBS) provide the tools by which we embrace our pursuit of continuous improvement.
3) Customer Satisfaction - all of our actions and processes should flow from customer needs. Consistently meeting customer expectations is the minimal requirement. Continually investing the development of our processes that position us to exceed expectations is our desired state.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Own and deliver top line margin expansion through effective local market pricing controls, productivity initiatives, and other process improvements that effectively leverage our branch spend.
  • Generate top line revenue growth through sale of our service products & offerings, replacement components, and some new equipment. Lead branch operations team to achieve strategic goals related to revenue generation, profit attainment, and growth goals including market share through utilization of effective sales management techniques. Obtain market intelligence and develop strategy in gaining market/territory share.
  • Effectively coach, counsel, train and develop all employees. Drive continuous improvement through company performance management process.
  • Establish a cost-disciplined culture within the branch. Maintain all expense budgets at or below established targets. Oversee monitoring of inventory levels of products and components, timely receivables collection, and the control of working capital.
  • Responsible for health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance. Instill measurement and control systems to monitor and improve safety performance. Provide training to all employees to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Ensure all branch operations compliance measures (including SOX) are in place. Instill measurement and control systems to monitor and improve performance. Proactively engage in corrective action in deficient areas

What you will Bring:
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of P&L responsibility
  • 5+ years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, Marketing or Business.
  • 5 years of leadership experience and people management experience in a service related or industrial business.
  • Individual must be able to work "up" in an organization as well as "down" to the individual contributor, blue collar level and be able to relate to all in an equally effective manner.
  • The ability to thrive in the tactical day-to-day as well as participate in the development and execution of the overall strategy are a must. Long term visions and planning capability are required for success.
  • Ability to prioritize and use time management effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Analytical mind is needed to determine which priorities have the greatest value for our customers and ROI to the business.
  • Work is completed through other employees, so this person must excel at hiring, developing, training, coaching, leading and motivating a diverse and distributed workforce for optimal results.
  • Experience with Lean/5S
  • Ability to remain flexible and use critical thinking to solve problems

The compensation range for this position is $95,000-$110,000 annual salary. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. All eligible Team Members will be offered health insurance (medical, dental, vision, Rx), life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), short-term and long-term disability, extended leave options, paid time off, company holidays, 401k matching, employee stock purchase plan, legal assistance, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement and discount programs.
