Job description

Our mission is to deliver high-quality, reliable, and innovative products that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public sector and utility operations.

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Government, Municipality, and Utility Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the government, municipal, and utility sectors, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth for Cobalt Truck Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the government, municipal, and utility sectors.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, municipal leaders, utility managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of Cobalt Truck Equipment’s solutions.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and contracts in response to RFPs and other procurement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our brand and generate leads.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or relevant experience in a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the government, municipal, or utility sectors.
  • Strong understanding of government and utility procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to obtain CDL within first 3 months

Physical Demands

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.

Travel

Up to 50% travel.
