Utility Services - Ft Worth, TX 76140.
Utility Services, the newest entity within the Utility Innovation Group (UIG) of companies, is focused on providing North American electric utilities with turnkey services and solutions supporting grid-hardening, system reliability and upgrades. Duties and Responsibilities:
APPRENTICE LINEMAN:
  • Works safely while performing maintenance and repair work of energized and deenergized underground cable systems.
  • Lead and supervise underground utility construction projects with a focus on accuracy and safety.
  • Perform cable terminations (medium voltage), cable pulling, underground transformer replacements, and cable replacement tie-ins as required. (Hot) Apprentices.
  • Understand the appropriate required PPE and ensure proper installation of coverup is performed at each jobsite.
  • Understand grounding procedures.
  • Able to work at heights (bucket truck & climb) & work in confined spaces
  • Experience phasing.
  • Able to perform a job tailboard.
