Your application will be considered for a position working in our new cafe: Shake Smart, opening June 8 2026 in the Hub, as well as other Hub locations; The Forum Cafe, in the Library; and other dining locations across campus. Location of hire will be based on final interview, request may be considered.
USU Dining is seeking people that will Create an Excellent College Experience and provide quality service to all customers. We are searching for candidates that will go the extra mile to be a strong, dedicated employee and will continually grow and adapt to a fast work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Taking and preparing food and beverage orders
  • Maintaining a very clean work environment
  • Clearly and concisely communicating product knowledge and information to all customers
  • Maintaining consistency with all products and company guidelines
  • Bringing a positive and upbeat attitude to work

Qualifications
  • Food handlers permit is required within the first 30 days of employment
  • Basic Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems

This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures, fumes, smoke, steam, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
