Job Description Everforth ECS is looking for a Project Manager to support the Technology Acquisition Management (TAM) group of the US Postal Service's Engineering Systems office in Merrifield, VA . This position supports the Technology Acquisition Management (TAM) group by supporting the successful planning, tracking, execution, and closure of projects within the USPS Engineering Systems Technology Acquisition Management group, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards. This position requires the ability to work four days per week, onsite, at USPS location in Merrifield, VA. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Track project progress, monitor tasks, and report on status to the project team and stakeholders. * Facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, distributing minutes, and tracking action items. * Support the management of project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans. * Assist in identifying and escalating potential risks and issues to the senior project manager. * Coordinate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors. * Support the creation of project reports, presentations, and other communication materials. * Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and processes. * Assist in change management activities and impact assessments. * Support project closure activities, including documentation archiving and lessons learned. * Produce and contribute to the following deliverables: * Updated Project Schedules (e.g., Gantt Charts) * Project Status Reports (weekly/bi-weekly) * Meeting Agendas and Minutes * Action Item Lists and Tracking Reports * Risk and Issue Logs (updated regularly) * Project Documentation (e.g., requirements, design docs, test plans, user manuals) * Communication Plans and Materials * Lessons Learned Documentation * Project Closure Reports Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding and requires a Public Trust background investigation. This entails an in-depth background check & either US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status. Required Skills * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience. * 2-4+ years of experience in project management in government acquisitions or similar experience in private industry. * Demonstrated organizational skills, strong communication (written and verbal), ability to work collaboratively, problem-solving aptitude. * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana]), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Desired Skills * Project management certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP).
