Job Description
About the Role:
This is a collaborative role which will see you working across the organisation to create digital experiences that are user-friendly, intuitive, accessible, responsive, and friction-free. If you are someone who has experience on the visualisation of a fantastic user experience, this could be the role for you, You will focus on optimizing conversions, increasing user satisfaction, and maintaining visual and brand consistency across customer-facing digital experiences. Working collaboratively with IT and other Teams, you will create a cohesive roadmap for enhancements and translate user, business, and technical insights into applicable UX/UI recommendations. You will report to the Director - Experience Performance & Enablement and use a hybrid work schedule. Our team meets weekly in our Durham office.
You Will:
Design/Prototyping
  • Develop storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes for design ideas
  • Design website landing pages and product pages and user flows
  • Review and redesign all digital member touchpoints to increase engagement.
  • Maintain and evolve the design system and component specifications, partnering with Web Engineering to support implementation
  • Create and refine multiple design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to support testing, partner agreement and UX/UI decisions.
  • Translate UX/UI recommendations into design of page templates, reusable components, publishing standards, and quality-tested digital experiences.

User Research/Collaboration
  • Work with other teams to conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback for optimization
  • Collaborate with partners to define project goals, requirements, and scope
  • Ensure platforms meet customer needs and expectations

Conversion Rate Optimization/Testing
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data for a CRO strategy and testing plan
  • Create hypotheses and implement A/B or multivariate tests and partner with IT to implement and iterate
  • Produce reports grounded in test results, focusing on important metrics

Qualifications
You Have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: user experience design, human-computer interaction, interaction design, graphic design, visual communication, digital design, computer science, or information systems. We may consider equivalent experience.
  • 5 years experience in UI/UX design

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $88,000 - $125,000
