Job Description

8-10 years' experience as an information architect, interaction designer, experience designer or similar

Degree in a related field, such as Interactive Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or Human Factors

Deep knowledge of the User Experience Design process

Experience designing highly transactional websites or web-based applications

Experience designing for mobile devices (smartphones, tablets)

Familiarity with insurance and healthcare domain a plus

Experience using web analytics to inform design decisions

Hands-on design skills in wireframes, persona development a Solid understanding of user research and user centered design

Experience with both traditional solution delivery methodologies, and with rapid, iterative solution delivery methods, such as Agile

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team, as well as work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Proven success in creative direction, leading internal and external design teams

Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, decentralized environment

Ability to successfully juggle multiple projects in a compressed timeline, with competing priorities

Good command over wireframing tools like Axure, Visio and design tools like Adobe Creative Suite

Knowledge of Visual Design a Plus.

Qualifications

Contribute across the User Experience Design Arc:

User Research (personas, Contextual Inquiry etc.)

Information architecture (Site Structure, Navigation Design)

Interaction Design (Interaction Models, wireframe development, clickable prototypes using Axure and other such tools)

Usability Testing (Test Planning, Test Script development, Conducting Remote and lab-based usability tests)

Set overall UX strategy and guide UX architects
