Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Product Designer to work onsite with a client's product and engineering teams in downtown Toronto. This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring strong ownership of end-to-end design execution across mobile and web products.

The ideal candidate brings exceptional UI/visual craft, deep product thinking, and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced client environments, while seamlessly adapting to existing design systems used by large-scale digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end UI/UX design for mobile and web applications, from concept to final delivery
  • Translate product requirements, user needs, and business goals into high-quality design solutions
  • Create pixel-perfect UI designs, interaction flows, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Ensure strong visual consistency and attention to detail across platforms
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Client Stakeholders onsite
  • Adapt and design within existing client design systems (e.g., Uber, Lyft-style systems)
  • Contribute to usability improvements through user-centered design principles
  • Maintain design quality while working independently with minimal supervision

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience designing both mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications
  • Exceptional UI/visual design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, and layout
  • Proven experience as an individual contributor in product-driven organizations
  • Ability to work independently at client locations and manage multiple design priorities
  • Experience working within or adapting to enterprise-level design systems
  • Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma (required)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Exposure to accessibility standards and usability best practices

Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
No applications will be considered if received more than 120 days after the date of this post.
