Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of GTM, Antidepressants Support App based in Netherlands.

This is a high-impact, 01 growth leadership role focused on taking an early-stage mental health app from product discovery to repeatable, sustainable growth. You will own the go-to-market strategy, working across user research, positioning, acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on experimentation across organic, paid, content, referral, and app-store channels. You'll use behavioral and performance data to identify product-market fit and build a scalable growth engine. Success will depend on balancing commercial performance with trust, privacy, compliance, and sensitivity to the mental health space. You'll also build a lean growth function and work closely with product, data, and leadership teams.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the 01 go-to-market strategy, beginning with structured user discovery and experimentation to identify target segments, product-market fit, positioning, and messaging.
  • Conduct user interviews, cohort analysis, retention analysis, and other research to understand who engages with the product, why they stay, and what drives long-term value.
  • Develop and validate positioning and messaging through live market experiments, translating insights into recommendations for product and growth priorities.
  • Build and test acquisition channels across organic, paid, content, referral, and other relevant growth motions, prioritizing efficient and repeatable sources before scaling investment.
  • Own App Store Optimization end-to-end and develop organic growth through ASO, content, and referral loops.
  • Establish and manage paid user acquisition across channels such as Meta, Google UAC, TikTok, and Apple Search Ads, with clear CAC, LTV, and ROAS targets.
  • Build privacy-compliant growth measurement and attribution infrastructure using tools such as AppsFlyer or Adjust, SKAdNetwork, and server-side events.
  • Own the full conversion funnel from installation and activation through trials and subscriptions, using lifecycle marketing and experimentation to improve retention and monetization.
  • Partner with product teams on paywalls, pricing, trial mechanics, user journeys, and other initiatives that influence conversion and lifetime value.
  • Build a lean, high-performing growth team and establish effective collaboration with product, analytics, and data functions.
  • Provide leadership with clear reporting on product-market fit, acquisition efficiency, retention, monetization, and overall growth performance.
  • Deliver early milestones including a validated PMF thesis, at least one repeatable acquisition channel, increased organic install contribution, and reliable privacy-compliant measurement.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in growth or go-to-market roles for consumer mobile applications, including hands-on experience taking products through or close to product-market fit.
  • Proven ability to discover and validate acquisition channels, conduct positioning experiments, and translate retention signals into repeatable growth strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with App Store Optimization and paid user acquisition, ideally across multiple major mobile advertising platforms.
  • Strong data fluency, including cohort analysis, retention analysis, CAC-to-LTV modeling, attribution, incrementality testing, and performance measurement.
  • Practical knowledge of the mobile growth ecosystem, including AppsFlyer or Adjust, Meta, Google UAC, Apple Search Ads, TikTok, Mixpanel or Amplitude, Firebase, and GA4.
  • Experience launching consumer mobile products in the United States and/or Western Europe, with a strong understanding of app-store dynamics and privacy requirements such as GDPR and Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
  • Experience in healthtech, wellness, regulated consumer products, or another trust-sensitive B2C environment is highly valued.
  • Genuine interest in mental health and mission-driven products, with the judgment to balance growth objectives against user trust, privacy, and compliance considerations.
  • Personal experience with antidepressants is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, experimentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to operate effectively in an early-stage, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to work hands-on while also establishing the strategy, processes, measurement systems, and team structure required for future scale.
Benefits
  • Opportunity to lead the 01 go-to-market strategy for an early-stage mental health technology product.
  • Significant ownership and autonomy across product-market fit, growth strategy, acquisition, retention, and monetization.
  • Opportunity to build and lead a lean growth team as the product scales.
  • Exposure to an international, mission-driven environment focused on expanding access to evidence-based mental health solutions.
  • Fully remote working model.
  • Opportunity to shape growth practices in a regulated and privacy-sensitive consumer category.
  • Competitive compensation package; salary details to be determined.
