Key Responsibilities:
  • Review fully approved loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company and investor requirements.
  • Prepare and generate accurate closing disclosures, settlement statements, and loan documents.
  • Verify fees, payoffs, and wire instructions to ensure accuracy prior to closing.
  • Coordinate with title companies, escrow agents, loan officers, and internal departments to facilitate timely closings.
  • Review and clear closing conditions in Encompass before release of funds.
  • Manage closing timelines to meet funding deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, agency, and investor regulations.
  • Identify and resolve any closing discrepancies quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication throughout the closing process.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of mortgage closing experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of closing disclosures, settlement statements, and title documentation.
  • Familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loan products.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
  • Proficiency with Encompass or similar LOS platforms.
