Job description

Position Summary:

At Triple Shift Entertainment we’re proud to embrace the core values of Spirit, Courage, Respect, Own It, and Excellence. As a Facilities B follow these core values while chasing that “perfect game” and you will assure that the fun never stops while working in the facilities area.

The Facilities B technician will keep the pin spotters/pinsetters and other bowling equipment in proper working order, maintain all safety procedures, and ensure that the shop and machine area are always clean and organized. Follow preventative maintenance program for all center equipment; will ensure that the venue is clean and maintained according to Triple Shift policies and procedures.

Pay Range: $18- $23/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Show Excellence by regularly inspects bowling facility electrical, mechanical, and computerized equipment to include automatic pinsetter, automatic ball returns, automatic scoring systems, automatic bumper systems, sound and lighting systems, automatic ball polishers, ball resurfacing machines, lanes stripping & oiling machines and drill presses.
  • Diagnosing equipment malfunctions by referring to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams using test equipment.
  • Own It by performing operational checks, visually check for worn or damaged parts, trace wiring, disassemble, make necessary adjustments, repair, or replace defective mechanical and electrical components or parts using soldering irons, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and other hand tools.
  • Cleans and lubricates machines, following maintenance schedules.
  • Measures and regulates sweep of rake on automatic pinsetters using hand tools and gauges
  • Respect the importance of maintaining accuracy by running automatic pinsetter through complete cycle and inspects for pin setting accuracy.
  • Own it by assuring lanes beds meet USBC standards and adjusts lanes and pin decks as required.
  • Maintains required records and reports.
  • Initiates requests for spare parts, supplies, hand equipment
  • Performs general housekeeping tasks to ensure proper standard of appearance, cleanliness, and safety of venue.
  • When needed, perform other mechanical and electrical work for the venue.
  • Courage to work other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical manuals and schematics.

  • Experience in performing schedule preventive maintenance on facilities/equipment.

401k Information:
You will be eligible to begin contributing to a 401(k) on the first of the month following your first 90 days of service and if you meet the minimum hours criteria. The minimum criteria for employee eligibility are 1) employees must be 21 years of age or older and 2) must work 250 hours in 90 days or an average of 1,000 hours in one year. Triple Shift Entertainment will match qualified 401(k) contributions as follows: $1 for $1 for the first 3% and $0.50 for $1 on the next 2% on what employee contributes to their 401(k) and you are considered fully vested immediately.
