What is a USA PMO?

A USA PMO (Project Management Office) is a centralized group within an organization in the United States that defines and maintains project management standards across the company. The PMO helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals. It provides support, guidance, and oversight for project managers and teams, often by establishing best practices, templates, and tools. PMOs can vary in structure, from advisory to fully controlling, depending on the organization's needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a USA PMO professional?
