Seeking Government Cost Efficiency Consultant candidates with relevant Government and Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government and Public Services Sector Clients such as MontCo. This is a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Executive Consultant/SME III Functional Area Professional - Operations Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Operations (Government Cost Efficiency Consultant) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as Montgomery County PA (MontCo) | County Finance Department Generally Located In  CONUS - Norristown PA and across the CONUS - Northeastern United States (USA) Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Government Cost Efficiency Consultant | Executive Consultant/SME III [MontCo0012011]

  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across government operations. Assess procurement processes, vendor agreements, and financial workflows to eliminate inefficiencies. Advise stakeholders on financial reform and resource reallocation.
Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Government Cost Efficiency Consultant | Executive Consultant/SME III [MontCo0012011] (MontCo0012011) Candidates:

  • Expertise in public sector budgeting, cost-reduction methodologies, and operational efficiency strategies. Experience with government compliance standards and administrative operations.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Public Administration, Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum of 7 years experience in financial consulting for government or large institutions.

Skills Required

  • Cost analysis, process improvement, government procurement knowledge, Lean Six Sigma, advanced Excel and BI tools.

Competencies Required

  • Analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, leadership, fiscal responsibility, policy alignment.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

  • May lead stakeholder workshops or training sessions focused on financial best practices.
  • Expected to deliver formal efficiency audits and quarterly reports to senior officials.
