Job description

Help Modernize How Cities Are Planned, Approved, and Built

At Archistar, we’re building AI-powered technology that helps governments tackle one of the world’s biggest challenges: the housing crisis.

We partner with local governments, planning agencies, and developers to modernize planning systems, streamline permitting and approvals, and accelerate housing delivery through intelligent automation.

Our platform combines artificial intelligence, spatial analysis, generative design, and advanced data visualization to help government teams make faster, smarter, and more compliant planning decisions.

As we continue expanding across North America, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager, Government Solutions to lead the successful delivery and implementation of complex enterprise projects for public sector customers across the United States.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of:

  • AI and emerging technology
  • Government digital transformation
  • Urban planning and housing policy
  • Enterprise SaaS implementation

You’ll help shape the future of how cities and communities grow.

The Role
As a Senior Project Manager at Archistar, you will lead end-to-end implementation and delivery projects for government customers across the United States.

You’ll serve as the primary delivery lead between customers and internal teams — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to customer outcomes.

This role combines:

  • enterprise software implementation
  • stakeholder management
  • customer delivery leadership
  • change management
  • cross-functional coordination

You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and government stakeholders to deliver high-impact technology solutions in complex and politically sensitive environments.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • highly organized
  • proactive and execution-focused
  • technically confident
  • customer-oriented
  • experienced navigating enterprise or public sector delivery environments
What You'll be Responsible For

Lead Enterprise Implementations

  • Own end-to-end delivery of government implementation projects from contract signature through go-live and post-launch support
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes
  • Ensure implementations are delivered successfully against scope, budget, and customer expectations
  • Drive accountability across both customer and internal stakeholder groups

Manage Customer Relationships

  • Act as the primary delivery contact for government customers and strategic partners
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across executive, operational, and technical teams
  • Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, status reporting, and executive communications
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, blockers, and escalations

Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Technical teams to translate customer requirements into actionable implementation plans
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout delivery
  • Support deployment of AI-powered planning and permitting solutions within customer environments

Drive Change Management & Adoption

  • Support customer readiness, stakeholder alignment, training coordination, and end-user adoption activities
  • Help customers successfully navigate operational and organizational change associated with digital transformation initiatives

Improve Delivery Operations

  • Monitor project performance and implementation health across multiple concurrent projects
  • Ensure customer acceptance milestones are achieved to support invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, implementation processes, and operational frameworks
  • Collaborate with global teams across the United States, Canada, and Australia

Requirements

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, implementation management, or program delivery within a customer-facing technology environment
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise SaaS or software implementation projects
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments across multiple teams and levels of seniority
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and competing priorities
  • Experience partnering closely with technical, engineering, and product teams
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, distributed team environments

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with local government agencies, public sector organizations, or regulated industries
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or organizational change initiatives
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement, governance, or compliance environments
  • Experience in GovTech, PropTech, civic technology, urban planning, infrastructure, or smart city environments
  • Knowledge of permitting, planning, land use, or development workflows is a strong plus

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certifications are highly regarded
