As we continue to scale, we’re looking for adaptable, tech-savvy trainers who can learn quickly, think independently, and help our clients successfully adopt our platform.
Role Overview
We’re hiring Software Implementation Trainers to lead dealership clients through onboarding, training, and early adoption of Advent’s platform.
This is a high-travel, client-facing role where you’ll spend significant time on-site at dealerships, working directly with teams, as well as leading live virtual training and webinars (camera on).
This role is equal parts learning, problem-solving, and teaching. You’ll be expected to quickly become proficient in our system, confidently guide users in both in-person and virtual settings, and operate independently once assigned to client accounts.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to dealership teams—helping them understand not just how to use the system, but how to use it effectively within their sales and finance workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Travel frequently to dealerships to deliver on-site, hands-on training
- Lead live virtual training sessions and webinars (camera on) for dealership users
- Learn Advent’s platform in depth and continuously build product expertise
- Lead implementations and guide clients through onboarding and go-live
- Translate complex system functionality into clear, practical workflows
- Work directly with dealer personnel, building trust and driving adoption
- Operate independently with assigned clients after onboarding
- Identify gaps, answer questions, and troubleshoot during training sessions
- Partner with internal teams (Support, Product, Customer Success) to resolve issues
- Capture feedback and contribute to improving training content and delivery
- Ensure a smooth transition from implementation to long-term support
What We’re Looking For
- Strong ability to learn quickly and self-teach complex systems
- Confidence in presenting, training, and leading sessions both in-person and virtually (camera on)
- Comfortable being on-site with clients and building relationships face-to-face
- Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot and adapt in real time
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients/projects
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to ~80%)
Preferred (Not Required, But Helpful)
- Experience in automotive dealerships (Sales, F&I, or Operations)
- Familiarity with DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds etc.)
- Understanding of deal structure, financing, and leasing
- Previous experience in training, onboarding, or implementation roles
