Job Title: Process Automation Engineer
Location: North Carolina (Onsite Only)

Job Overview:
We are hiring a Process Automation Engineer to support commissioning, integration, and startup of automated inspection systems in an aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves taking systems from FAT through SAT to full operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support installation, integration, and startup of automated inspection systems
  • Execute FAT, SAT, commissioning, and IV/OV activities
  • Troubleshoot PLC, HMI/SCADA, vision systems, and equipment integrations
  • Coordinate with OEM vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, validation, and data integrity standards
  • Support MES, SCADA, and IT/OT system integration

Required Skills:

  • Experience with pharmaceutical inspection equipment
  • Strong PLC and SCADA/HMI knowledge (Siemens preferred)
  • Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of automation lifecycle from FAT to commissioning
  • Ability to work onsite and support startup schedules

Preferred Skills:

  • Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC Unified, Siemens S7 PLCs
  • PAS-X MES, AVEVA PI Historian
  • ThinManager, Octoplant (VersionDog)
  • Industrial networking and IT/OT systems
  • Experience with Körber inspection systems or similar platforms
