Job description


JOB TITLE: Manager, UR/Case Management

 

REPORTS TO: Hospital CEO/CMO

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing and supervising the day-to-day operation of the Case Management and Utilization Management programs. Manages activities necessary to ensure appropriate utilization of the hospital and its resources while maintaining optimal achievable standards of patient care. Maintains the strictest confidentiality of all patient information. Performs all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of Case Management experience preferred. Knowledge of state regulatory and accreditations agency requirements. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: RN license required.
