Position Summary


As an Associate Manager, Upstream Marketing you will support the global upstream strategy for the PFA pipeline, translating customer insights into early product requirements, helping shape technology roadmaps, and partnering with R&D, clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, downstream marketing, and regional commercial teams. This role focuses on leading defined workstreams within the upstream process and enabling senior leaders to make datadriven portfolio decisions in an earlystage innovation environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic support for upstream planning
    • Support development and execution of upstream strategy for PFA technologies, aligned to clinical trends, unmet needs, and adoption dynamics.
    • Contribute to global market models, therapy adoption curves, and medium to longrange forecasts for PFA treatment pathways.
  • Customer insights & voice of customer
    • Design and execute VOC and insight activities (interviews, ethnography, JTBD workshops, segmentation) for target customers and care settings.
    • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable recommendations for product concepts and priorities.
  • Product definition & early pipeline work
    • Draft and maintain components of Marketing Requirement Documents (MRDs) and user needs for new PFA technologies, catheters, generators, and integrated EP solutions.
    • Support R&D during concept exploration, feasibility assessments, and tradeoff analyses.
    • Contribute to value proposition development and build sections of business cases and pricing inputs.
  • Crossfunctional collaboration
    • Coordinate with clinical and medical affairs to inform evidence generation plans, early clinical evaluations, and KOL engagement.
    • Work with downstream marketing to ensure early positioning and launch readiness alignment.
    • Support regional partners to validate global relevance and adoption assumptions across key markets.
  • Market & competitive intelligence
    • Monitor competitors, clinical trial readouts, regulatory pathways, and ecosystem integration trends relevant to PFA.
    • Identify reimbursement, lab workflow, capital investment, and hospital adoption considerations that may impact product design or gotomarket approaches.
    • Flag potential partnership or technology scouting opportunities to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, biomedical sciences, marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in medical devices or related healthcare industry.
  • Practical understanding of clinical environments- ideally electrophysiology, AF therapy, interventional cardiology, or other highacuity specialties.
  • Demonstrated ability to run customer interviews, synthesize insights, and translate them into product requirements.
  • Solid analytical skills and experience contributing to market models, forecasts, or basic business case development.
  • Strong crossfunctional collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders.

Preferred

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience in upstream/strategic marketing, product management, or early-stage product development.
  • Familiarity with PFA technologies, EP lab workflows, mapping platforms, or catheterbased energy delivery systems.
  • Experience supporting global product initiatives or engaging with international markets.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and contributing to clarity in earlystage innovation programs.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$94,000.00 - $151,800.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year
