Job description

PeaceHealth is seeking a Supply Chain Process Coordinator for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $28.73 - $43.09. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
Job Summary
Provides project support and supply chain related internal customer training; recommends and implements improvements in supply chain management for the organization. Serves as a liaison with other supply chain teams and customers; including value analysis. Responsible for the regional planning, coordination and integration of Supply Chain processes. Facilitates and supports the operational improvement objectives established by supply chain leadership.
Essential Functions
  • Supports project management, lean improvement opportunities and implementation for approved projects.
  • Supports conversions for Supply Chain projects, products or supported services.
  • Performs analysis/review, identifying issues, and assisting with the development of procedures for effective use of supply chain modules.
  • Assists with testing of software related to upgrades, patches, process flows, system modifications, custom reports.
  • Acts as subject matter resource by providing assistance to end users for ongoing use of SCMS modules.
  • Maintains requester and requesting location set-ups, mobile supply chain user set up, shopping lists, PAR locations, period close activities and taxable non-stock items.
  • Assists in the development and direct/participate in structured training courses for SCMS and related modules, new system upgrades and trains super users and end users. Conducts individual or group training sessions or make other group presentations.
  • Supports and coordinates inventory processes. Coordinates new product requests. Supports and reports on products, contracts, price comparisons and contract compliance. Reviews requests with requestors and ensures completeness.
  • Assists and supports data management and cost analysis projects including conducting periodic review and data cleanup activities. Develops tools and reports to identify supply chain trends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma Required: or equivalent and
  • Associate Degree Preferred: or
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Equivalent combination of education and work experience may substitute and

Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years Required: Experience in supply chain and
  • Preferred: Experience in Healthcare product knowledge and
  • Preferred: Infor/Lawson ERP and add-ins experience and
  • Preferred: Experience developing analytical and training documents

Credentials
  • Required: within 2 years Lean Certification

Working Conditions
Lifting
  • Buyer/Products Coord.: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
  • Central Supply Tech/Inventory Clerk: Ability to move around area. Frequent lifting up to 50lbs. Occasionally manipulating up to 100lbs. with assistance, to transport and stock assigned supplies and materials. Occasional bending, stooping, and climbing, reaching .

Environmental Conditions
  • Predominantly operates in an office or warehouse/supply room environment.

Mental/Visual
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
