Company Overview: We are a well-established UPS Store located in north Scottsdale, AZ. As an independently owned and operated franchise, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and convenience to our diverse clientele. Our store offers a wide range of shipping, printing, packing, and business services, catering to the needs of both individuals and businesses within the local community. We are currently seeking both full time and part time Center Associates who are friendly, customer-focused, and detail-oriented and want to join our team as we continue to provide outstanding service to our valued customers. Note that we have flexibility in what hours our staff can work into their schedules, including weekends if desired.

Job Summary: As a Center Associate at our UPS Store, you will be the face of our business, responsible for greeting and assisting customers with a wide range of services. Your primary focus will be on delivering top-notch customer service, efficiently handling shipping and printing requests, and ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. You will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the store and building strong relationships with our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional, and personalized assistance to all customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a courteous manner.

Shipping and Packing: Efficiently handle shipping services, including weighing, labeling, and processing packages for domestic and international shipments. Ensure that packages are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.

Printing Services: Assist customers with printing needs, including document printing, scanning, and copying. Offer guidance on print options and ensure the final products meet customer expectations.

Product Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of UPS Store products and services to offer appropriate solutions and upsell additional services when suitable.

Cash Management: Process transactions accurately and handle payments through cash, credit cards, or other accepted methods. Maintain cash register and balance daily transactions.

Service Promotion: Inform customers about ongoing promotions, loyalty programs, and new services to encourage repeat business and attract potential clients.

Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, including filing, organizing, and maintaining records of shipping and printing activities.

Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer experience.
