Electrical Battery Field Technician - UPS / ATS / Generators / Switchgear / Transformers

URGENT NEED!

The Electrical Battery Field Technician supports all phases of project life cycles with a focus on onsite coordination, equipment testing, and project scheduling. Working cross-functionally with Service, Project Management, Accounting, Logistics, and Estimating teams, this role ensures successful execution of field operations and high-quality installations in compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors.

  • Conduct site visits, review electrical plans, and assist in estimate development.

  • Supervise equipment installation, startup, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).

  • Perform commissioning, testing, maintenance on critical power systems: UPSs, ATSs, PDUs, generators, batteries, transformers, switchgear and related.

  • Ensure safety and compliance during all onsite activities.

  • Support administrative and logistical functions, including documentation and reporting.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years of related electrical experience.

  • Commissioning, testing, maintenance on critical power systems: UPSs, ATSs, PDUs, generators, batteries, transformers, switchgear and related.
  • Strong understanding of project management, electrical systems, and equipment testing procedures.

  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel.

  • Must pass background and driving record checks.
