Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and build strong, long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate and process shipping documentation, load receipts, billing information, and related transportation records.
  • Maintain accurate customer, shipment, and inventory data across internal and external systems.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, warehouse personnel, and management to resolve issues and provide updates.
  • Monitor account performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with reporting, data entry, filing, and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service commitments are met and customer expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of customer service, logistics, transportation, warehouse, or account management experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL).
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory control processes.
