Job Description:
UofL Health, in collaboration with the University of Louisville Division of Hematology/Oncology is seeking applicants for a medical oncologist with the organization. This position will provide care for patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases and provide primary care to patients during diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Duties include:
  • On-call coverage and service rotation at the University of Louisville Health hospital, with primary deployment at the Bluegrass Avenue site at Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
  • This position will occasionally support UofL Health's affiliated hospitals and clinics in Louisville, KY.
  • Assist with the development and contribution to the respective multi-disciplinary cancer programs and the design and development of clinical trials and translational research.
  • Require board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology and must have or be able to obtain a Kentucky medical license.
