RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Setup dies, fixtures, or assemblies assigned to production operators in accordance with MIOSHA standards and company procedures
  • Interprets specifications
  • Reports equipment failures and unusual sounds of equipment
  • Coordinate pre-stage items for die change
  • Selects and sets speed and feed of machine according to type of operation and specified material and finish
  • Starts machine to obtain first run workpiece and verifies dimensional tolerances
  • Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc...
  • Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to use Micrometers, Calipers, Scales, Hilo License

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Operations Supervisor and Manager.
