Job description

Univision Television Group, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA seeks a full-time Anchor & Reporter to be responsible for presenting local and national news stories on television and streaming for Univision Los Angeles' news-related television programs, typically in a studio setting, by reading scripts, interviewing guests, and delivering live updates, while maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring accuracy in reporting current events. Write and anchor newscasts as assigned, gathering information from various sources, analyzing news stories, and crafting clear, concise scripts for broadcast. Develop and maintain good relationships with news

sources. Generate community-related stories and participate in community events on behalf of the station. Interpret and translate the news from English to accurate Spanish. Maintain a high degree of knowledge of current affairs and community events. May also, on occasion, provide services to our sister national networks as needed.

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Communications, Journalism or related field plus 5 years of experience in the occupation or as a television journalist.

Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Must have experience presenting Spanish-language news in television studio and in the field. Must have experience generating and editing

news scripts for broadcast.
