As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in McCarran, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while helping to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verify identification, access authorization, shipping documentation, and/or appointment information before permitting entry to restricted areas.
  • Monitor screening equipment and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
