As a Security Officer Screening Compliance in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures, helping to identify unauthorized items or access concerns.
  • Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting entry to restricted or controlled areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entrances, business operations, and the perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
