Located in Greenwood, IN, our 132-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness and chemical dependency. Valle Vista offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities.

Position Summary:
The Certified Music Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned programs, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction and role modeling to patients.
Requirements :
Education/Licensure: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, education, criminal justice or other social service or therapeutic discipline.
Certification : Must have an MT-BC certification (Music Therapist Board Certified) .
Experience: One (1) year related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric and/or substance use disorder patient care techniques. Proficiency utilizing office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Requirements : Experience with group facilitation or education.
