• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to devise tailored therapeutic strategies aimed at achieving individual goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines to ensure the integrity of client information and treatment history.

Your primary focus will include clients who face significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. By addressing the specific needs of these populations, you will play an integral role in fostering their emotional resilience and overall well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of New Jersey is necessary to practice.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards surrounding mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with various client demographics.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a healthcare team, enhancing collective treatment efforts.
• Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and relevant technologies to streamline documentation and client management.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

• Annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience, with potential for growth based on caseload and performance.
