Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the Cath Lab.
License: NY license required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
Must-Have: Experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
Description:
The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Registered Nurses will be scheduled for 4 - 10-hour days each week.
Average call shifts are 8-10 per month, including 1-2 weekends per month, depending on the schedule.
RNs must have competency in phlebotomy and placing IVs.
Patient diagnoses include CL patients requiring cardiac catheterizations, either diagnostic or interventional.
Patients in the lab may require drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, or biopsies.
RNs must be familiar with Epic charting system.
Scrubs will be provided.
RNs must have experience with a variety of interventional procedures and technologies.
Infection prevention and isolation precautions are mandatory.
RNs will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for patient care.
