We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated and compassionate team at Serene Unity Behavioral Health Center. As a key member of our team, you will deliver culturally competent mental health services across various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that recognize cultural contexts, enabling tailored treatment plans that align with the individual needs and experiences of each patient.
• Provide effective therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices while incorporating cultural sensitivity into all aspects of therapy.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that foster resilience and address the mental health concerns of clients, facilitating healing and personal growth.
• Collaborate with internal team members and external stakeholders to create integrated care plans, ensuring holistic treatment for our patients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and supportive strategies during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources to enhance their support networks.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal regulations and ethical standards to track patient progress effectively.
• Actively engage in staff meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to continuously improve service delivery.
• Stay informed on current research and best practices to refine therapeutic techniques and approaches.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• A profound understanding of various mental health disorders and a commitment to implementing culturally competent therapeutic practices.
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy using inclusive methodologies.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect deeply with clients from all walks of life.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technology.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards, professional integrity, and patient confidentiality.
• A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience working in a multicultural mental health setting and engaging with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Training in specific therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based methodologies.
• Previous experience in teletherapy or utilizing technology to enhance patient engagement and support.
