Position Summary
The Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial buildings. This includes wiring, panels, breakers, lighting, troubleshooting, and ensuring all work meets NEC and local code requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, panels, circuits, and equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide accurate diagnostics
  • Install lighting, receptacles, switches, breakers, and service equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and job specifications
  • Ensure all work meets NEC, OSHA, and local code requirements
  • Communicate professionally with contractors, customers, and team members
  • Maintain a clean jobsite and company vehicle
  • Complete required documentation, service tickets, and safety checklists
  • Follow company safety protocols and best practices

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of residential or commercial electrical experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong understanding of NEC requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and use ladders safely
  • Experience with panels, circuits, and basic troubleshooting
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team

Preferred Qualifications
  • Tennessee Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license
  • Experience with service upgrades and panel replacements
  • Ability to bend conduit (EMT, PVC)
  • Familiarity with low-voltage systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
