Huntleigh USA is currently seeking dependable and professional individuals to join our team at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport as Vendor Behind Counter (VBC) Agents. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced airport environment supporting United Airlines operations and providing outstanding customer service.


Available Shifts
  • 4:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    • Split Shift:
      • 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. — Vendor Behind Counter (VBC)
      • 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. — Wheelchair Agent

Position Overview

The Vendor Behind Counter (VBC) Agent supports the United Airlines ticket counter by tagging passenger bags, placing luggage onto the conveyor belt, and asking required safety and security questions to ensure compliance with airline and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) standards.

This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume airport environment.


Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Tag and process passenger luggage accurately
  • Lift and place bags onto the conveyor belt at the United Airlines ticket counter
  • Ask required safety and security questions to maintain in-flight safety standards
  • Provide clear and professional communication with passengers and airline staff
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • For split-shift employees, transition to wheelchair agent duties from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. as scheduled

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts consistently
  • Good hygiene and professional appearance are mandatory
  • Dependable and committed to job responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
