What is a Unitarian Church?

A Unitarian Church is a religious congregation that follows Unitarianism, a liberal religious tradition that emphasizes individual spiritual growth, reason, and the search for truth. Unitarian churches are known for their inclusive and open-minded approach, welcoming people of all backgrounds and beliefs. They typically do not require adherence to a specific creed and often focus on social justice, community service, and personal development. Services may include readings from various religious and philosophical sources, music, and reflection. The Unitarian tradition values diversity, equality, and respect for differing viewpoints.

Collaboration with clergy, congregation members, and external partners is common, making communication and organizational skills especially valuable. This role often provides opportunities to contribute to a welcoming and inclusive community while developing experience in nonprofit administration.
