Business Unit Manager | Sky Limit Systems | Full-Time Onsite


About the Role

Lead and coordinate all major business activities related to custom engineered products through integrated multifunctional teams. Drive new business and product development, prepare Business Plans including strategy for new and existing products, pricing structure, sales forecasts, advertising, and promotion. Meet annual growth plans and operating profit margin targets while supporting field sales through customer interface at key accounts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Multifunctional Teams in a dynamic business environment and build consensus for business priorities
  • Prepare New Business Proposals and serve as the direct program interface with customers during development
  • Review proposals and contracts to ensure terms and conditions conform to company policy and strategic business plan
  • Prepare Annual and Five Year Business Plans including product strategy, pricing, sales forecasts, and promotion
  • Support field sales through direct customer interface at key accounts
  • Meet annual growth plans and operating profit margin targets for the business unit
  • Present Business Unit results at quarterly corporate meetings
  • Foster teamwork, bias for action, and a can-do attitude


Qualifications

  • B.S. degree (technical discipline a plus)
  • Minimum 5 years of proven leadership of multifunctional teams
  • Sales exposure required; Aerospace and Custom Manufacturing background a plus
  • Proven ability to negotiate and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of contracts and financial statements
  • Ability to travel
  • Must be eligible for any required U.S. Government export control authorizations
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
