Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Progressive Care Unit. This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Part-Time Weekends opportunity with shifts of Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm.

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering call lights and phone calls promptly

  • Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment

  • Maintaining patient chart folders

  • Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles

  • Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
