**Travel ICU RN | Arizona**
**13-Week Contract | All Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours**
Seeking an experienced **Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse** for a travel assignment at a JCAHO-accredited regional medical center. This role primarily provides care in a **5-bed ICU** and may **float to the Emergency Department, Med-Surg, or Pediatrics** during low census. The ICU also supports post-operative recovery for general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients after hours.
**Requirements:**
* Active RN License (any U.S. state accepted)
* Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience
* Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
* Current BLS (AHA) certification
* Current ACLS (AHA) certification
* Current PALS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
* ICU experience caring for critically ill adult patients
* Allscripts EMR experience preferred
**Assignment Details:**
* 13-week contract
* All shifts available
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Holiday coverage required
* No on-call
* May float to ED, Med-Surg, or Pediatrics as needed
* Shared contractor housing available (subject to availability; no pets or family)
* W-2 employment only (1099 not accepted)
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill ICU patients
* Monitor and assess patient conditions while responding to changes in clinical status
* Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
* Recover post-operative general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed
* Float to ED, Med-Surg, or Pediatrics during low census
* Accurately document patient care using Allscripts EMR
* Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
* Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient-centered care
