Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the maintenance domain within our client's mobile platform for 20,000+ field technicians. The role will manage requirements, coordinate vendor integrations, drive adoption across regional field operations, and work directly with development teams to deliver tools that eliminate manual data entry and friction in technician workflows. This role is at the intersection of field operations, software delivery, and data. The BSA will work closely with maintenance leadership, third-party equipment vendors, and agile development teams to ensure the program meets the needs of maintenance technicians in the field.
What You'll Own:
Vendor Integration Program (Smartsheet Replacement):
* Manage relationships with vendors for data automation
* Write and maintain integration requirements and technical specifications
* Coordinate API access, JSON schema validation, and field mapping with vendor technical contacts
* Track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies across vendors
* Support QBR demos and vendor alignment meetings
Field Operations Coordination:
* Serve as primary BA liaison to regional Field Ops leadership (Directors, SDPMs)
* Translate technician pain points into actionable requirements
* Manage communication plans for system transitions, feature launches, and decommissions
* Coordinate with Field Ops Engineering on workflow validation
Data & Reporting:
* Build and maintain leadership dashboards (adoption trends, usage metrics, compliance)
* Produce bi-weekly metrics for senior leadership
* Analyze MongoDB/Tableau data for adoption insights and anomaly detection
* Support weekly status reporting to VP/GVP stakeholders
Day-to-Day Activities:
* Write user stories with acceptance criteria for TechMobile maintenance features
* Attend and drive vendor technical meetings (agenda, notes, action items, follow-up)
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software delivery, preferably telecom/field services
* Experience writing technical requirements and working directly with development teams
* Strong understanding of APIs, JSON data structures, and system integrations
* Proficiency with Jira (agile workflows, epics/stories/tasks hierarchy)
* Excellent written communication - ability to translate technical details for non-technical audiences
* Experience coordinating across multiple vendor relationships simultaneously
* Comfortable with data analysis (spreadsheets, basic SQL/database concepts)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in cable/telecom field operations or network maintenance
* Familiarity with DOCSIS/HFC network architecture (nodes, amplifiers, RPDs, transponders)
* Experience with Atlassian tools
* Understanding of MongoDB, Tableau, or Splunk for data analysis
* Experience with phased rollouts, regional deployments, or access management
* SCTE membership or familiarity with SCTE standards
* Experience managing contractor/vendor onboarding workflows
* Exposure to AI/automation tools in a professional context
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
